Professional Packing Help for a Smoother Move
Packing takes time, energy, and a surprising amount of planning. Our crew works methodically, room by room, to ensure your belongings are protected, organized, and ready for transport.
How We Handle Packing
- Packing is completed the day before your Load & Unload service
- Exceptions: College dorm moves and senior moves — these are packaged as one combined service
- Crew size is based on the number of rooms and number of floors
- Each mover may take a dedicated area (kitchen, living room, bathrooms, etc.)
- Everything is clearly labeled using client‑provided markers
- Payment for packing is due when the service is completed and to your satisfaction

What We Don’t Pack
To protect you, your belongings, and our crew, we do not pack:
- Open food
- Firearms
- Jewelry
- Cash or money equivalents

If something is rare, expensive, or sentimental, your crew lead may ask you to observe the packing or pack it yourself — ensuring transparency and protecting everyone involved.
What You Provide
To keep your costs low, MyTee Movers is a labor‑only packing service. Clients provide all packing materials, including:
- Boxes
- Tape
- Markers
- Packing paper
- Packing peanuts
- Bubble wrap
- Original TV boxes or flat-screen moving boxes
- Artwork boxes
A Helpful Note While You Pack
If you come across non‑perishable food or household items you no longer want to take with you, you can set them aside during packing.
Our crew can donate them locally through our MyTee Gives Back program — but only if there is room in the vehicle after your service is complete.

How Packing & Unpacking Works
1. Walkthrough & Plan
When the crew arrives, Milove performs a walkthrough of your home to understand the layout, identify priorities, and create a room‑by‑room packing plan. Clients are encouraged to have materials ready and any “do not pack” items separated. This preparation keeps the process efficient and on schedule.
2. Methodical Room‑by‑Room Packing
Your crew works with care and intention, packing each room one at a time. Fragile items are wrapped properly, boxes are labeled clearly, and pathways are kept safe and organized. Each mover may take a dedicated area — kitchen, living room, bathrooms — to maintain consistency and speed.
3. Client Oversight & Final Check
You’re welcome to monitor packing as needed, especially for rare or high‑value items. For anything expensive, sentimental, or unique, Milove may ask you to observe the packing or pack it yourself to protect the item, the crew, and you. Once everything is packed to your expectations, payment is collected for the service.
All packing and unpacking services include a two‑hour minimum.
